About the All England Law Reports
The All England Law Reports have been published since 1936, today by LexisNexis Butterworths.
Cases from before 1936 are collected in the All England Law Reports Reprint, which covers around six thousand earlier cases going back to 1558. If you have the Reprint volumes as well, include them in your photos.
The series has had companions over the years, including a European Cases series that ran until 2005 and a series of commercial cases. Tell us about any of these on your shelves too.
What to send us for a valuation
- The first and last years you have, and any gaps in between.
- Whether you have the Reprint volumes and any index volumes.
- The state of the bindings: loose spines, water or smoke damage, or library stamps.
- The town or postcode, the floor the books are on and whether there is a lift.
Photos taken straight on to the shelves, in good light, are the quickest way for us to read the spines. We pack the books ourselves and pay the transport, so there is nothing to box up before we arrive.
