Law library disposal for universities and institutions

Universities, courts, councils and in-house legal teams clearing superseded stock. We value it from photos or a stock list, and collect it free.

Rows of shelving in a university law library

Clearing an institution's law stock

Send us photos of the shelves, or a stock list if you have one. A spreadsheet of titles, editions and years works as well as photos.

We value the stock for free, pack it from the shelves and pay the transport. There is no collection too big: tell us roughly how many shelves or metres of books there are.

The books go back into use. We sell them on through our own shop, Law Book Sellers, and pass others to new law firms, libraries, students, colleges and charities, including in developing countries.

What to send us

  • Photos of the shelves, or a stock list of titles, editions and years.
  • Roughly how many shelves or metres of books there are.
  • The address, the floor, and the loading access for a van.
  • Any date the space must be clear by.

Questions from universities and institutions

Can we send a stock list instead of photos?

Yes. A list of titles, editions and years works as well as photos.

What happens to the books after collection?

They go back into use. We sell them on through our own shop, Law Book Sellers, and pass others to new law firms, libraries, students, colleges and charities, including in developing countries. Books in really poor condition are recycled with care.

Is there a minimum or maximum size?

No. There is no collection too small or too big.
